Bumblebee Takes On Some Bad Guys And More In Newest Trailer For Spinoff Movie

The Bumblebee movie is about two months away from making its world premiere but thankfully in the meantime, Paramount has decided to drop another wonderful trailer for us to feast our eyes on. The trailer gives us a first look at Bumblebee facing off with an adversary as he is searching for Optimus Prime and also evading capture as he changes into a VW beetle.

For those who may not know, the movie takes place in 1987. This means all the events in the film take place 20 years before the first Transformers movie even happened. In this film Bumblebee, the famous autobot, meets Charlie Watson, a teenage girl who happens to discover him.

Back in December, Paramount actually released an official synopsis for the prequel which is what this film is:

“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”

For those who are wondering if he is going to be the only transformer that we’ll be seeing in the film, the answer to that question is no. Fans will get to feast their eyes also on a Generation one version Optimus prime and several decepticons.

Check out the the trailer below.

Bumblebee stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Schneider, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Ricardo Hoyos, Abby Quinn, and Grace Dzienny.

Make sure to add a visit to your local cinema to your Holiday plans this year as Bumblebee hits theaters on December 21st.
