Aladdin will hit theatres in 2019. While the live-action film based on the 1992 animated feature has had several controversies (from casting Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine to accusations of brown face on background actors), people are still largely excited about the upcoming project.

In order to get fans even more hyped, Will Smith, who will play Genie, dropped the first poster for the film.

He shared the photo to his Facebook with the caption: “LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE!”

Little else has been seen of the upcoming film, directed by Guy Ritchie, outside a shot of the cast together on the first day of filming.

In addition to Will Smith, Aladdin also stars Mena Massoud as the title characters, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, as well as Billy Magnussen and Nasim Pedrad as wholly original characters to the story.

Aladdin hits the big screen on May 24th, 2019.
