Frank Grillo Confirms That Avengers 4 Will Feature Flashbacks

Marvel fans have been endlessly speculating on Avengers 4 since the credits rolled on Avengers: Infinity War. They’ve even been speculating since before that as well.

Based on on-set pictures, many fans theorize that time travel or flashbacks will play a role in the still untitled final chapter in the Avengers series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Frank Grillo confirmed the flashbacks, at least. Grillo played Brock Rumlow/Crossbones in the final two Captain America films.

He can, however, confirm that he will appear in a flashback.

“He makes an appearance in the next Avengers movie. But it’s a flashback … I’m allowed to say whatever I want because I’m never doing another Marvel movie.”

Which had more to do with his age, than anything else, according to Grillo. “I’m 117 years old,” he joked.

So we definitely are going to the past in Avengers 4, but is it via the Time Stone? How will the Avengers undo all that Thanos (Josh Brolin) did with that snap? Can they even defeat him?

What is even the title for the film anyway?

Avengers 4 hits theatres May 3rd, 2019.
