Having called Wilmington, NC my home (I still call it my home, even if landlocked now), it is only fitting that I write about the forthcoming One Tree Hill reunion.
To be fair, I only ever watched One Tree Hill after I left Wilmington, and it was mainly for nostalgic purposes, so I can’t claim diehard fan status. Yet, I can’t deny the special bond I have with the show only because I lived in Wilmington, and I feel some sort of power when people ask if I’ve been to Karen’s Cafe, or Clothes Over Bros.
Why, yes, I have, but only because other real businesses exist in those places.
Nonetheless, One Tree Hill has an intense crowd of followers, and anytime a reunion happens (in Wilmington, or otherwise), it’s a big deal.
This year, a one-hour reunion special is set to air on Thursday, November 22 at 10/9c on Lifetime. The special is set to air following Lifetime’s Christmas movie with OTH alums, Hilarie Burton, Robert Buckley, Danneel Ackles and Antwon Tanner.
The reunion special will include Burton, Buckley, Ackles, and Tanner, in addition to Stephen Colletti (who is starring in Hometown Christmas on Lifetime in December). Lifetime has also affirmed there will be “a few surprise special guests.”
Hmmm…we can only hope.
If you want to catch some OTH alums in their new movie, check out The Christmas Contract on Lifetime at 8pm ET on Thursday, November 22nd.
Then, be sure to hang around for the reunion at 10 pm ET —the obvious best part of the evening.
