Are you ready for tears? Grab the tissues, because This Is Us returns to NBC on Tuesday, September 25th at 9pm ET.

The show, currently in its third season, kicked off this week with a special episode: “The Paley Center Salutes This Is Us.”  The one-hour special aired last night, September 18th on NBC, and it featured interviews from stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, and Chris Sullivan. Series creator, Dan Fogelman, was also featured in the interviews.

If that wasn’t enough, the special also incorporated the cast’s auditions and behind-the-scenes looks. Many of the seasons’ highlights are reminders for dedicated fans and spoilers for those hesitant to join the This Is Us fanclub.

But, those spoilers might just be enough to sell the hesitant bunch on really watching the show.

“The Paley Center Salutes This Is Us” provides viewers with a chance to see the show in a new light. As NBC says, “Cast members, writers and producers contribute their own interpretations of the events and explain why they made certain crucial choices with the characters and plot.”

Your biggest questions about the show might be answered in this one-hour special. And, if you missed the season three kick-off last night, rest assured, you can watch the special on NBC’s website.

Settle in and get ready for the season premiere with this special episode.

What do we know about season three so far?

We know This Is Us will keep with tradition, opening the third season’s first episode with  the Big Three’s 38th birthday. Showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger confirmed this information in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, while also saying that they planned to “jump to decades we’ve never been in before and go into the future.”

What does this even mean?! Guess we’ll have to watch to find out. Don’t forget to tune in on Tuesday, September 25th at 9pm ET!
