Lore, the anthology series based on the true horror podcast, will hit Amazon soon. We honestly can’t wait to see what sort of creepy tales will unfold in the second season.
While we did a get a trailer for the new season during San Diego Comic-Con, Amazon has seen fit to gift us with a new trailer. After all, the season will premiere relatively soon.
Because October is the month of frights, what is more scary than a true horror story?
While some stories from the podcast will appear in the second season, such as the tale of Elizabeth Báthory (she tortured servant girls and bathed in their blood in the 16th century), others will be brand new.
Producer Gale Anne Hurd tells Entertainment Weekly, “We have an expanded scope.” They even have “a new showrunner in Sean Crouch, who comes to us from the widely acclaimed Exorcist, the adaptation on Fox.”
Well that TV adaptation scared the ever loving hell out of us. Can’t wait to see what’s in store.
Check out the trailer below.
Lore season two premieres October 19th on Amazon.
