One of the stranger things about Supergirl is the lack of named DEO personnel. Given how much time the show spends there, its kind of a surprise.
Yes there have been a few named DEO agents, but not many.
Well, this latest recurring role appears to change that slightly.
Deadline reports that Anthony Konechny will join Supergirl season four as Agent Jensen. Recruited by new Director of the DEO Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Jensen will struggle to find his footing at the DEO. He’ll debut in the season four premiere on October 14th.
Konechny has appeared in Almost Human and Witches of the East End.
He’s one of several new faces for Supergirl‘s fourth season. Also joining are the “human first” characters like Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer), Mercy Graves (Rhona Mitra), and Otis Graves (Robert Baker).
The show has also cast Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/Dreamer, TV’s first transgender superhero, April Parker Jones as Colonel Haley, and David Ajala as Manchester Black.
Supergirl season four will premiere on Sunday, October 14th at 8/7c on the CW.
