Grant Gustin Defends Leaked Flash Suit And Stands Up To Body Shamers

Credit: The CW

Grant Gustin does not have time for body-shamers, as fans of The Flash learned today.

A leaked photo fromThe Flash season five (since been taken down) showed Gustin in the new suit. People, in the tradition of the Internet, began to make their feelings known about the costume. They didn’t like it.

They also didn’t like Gustin’s body in the costume, which continues to be the rudest thing to do to anyone famous or not.

Gustin took to Instagram to stand up to the body-shamers, making it clear that this guy is hero on and off screen. He also just does not have time for anyone criticizing things people can’t change.

He also pointed out the double standard in that it’s okay to criticize a male’s body. It’s not okay to criticize anyone’s body. It’s their body.

Gustin also emphasized the fact that he just has a hard time putting on weight and that the suit is a work in progress. Though the changes that have since been made to it has met with his approval.
