The Earpers fandom was alive and beyond hyped up at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend as their favorite show, Wynonna Earp, was there to provide tons of fun. The hit SyFy series just recently returned for its third season, giving fans a lot of things to talk about, and of course, there were a lot of questions already formulating in their minds as a result.

In case you need a refresher, the show follows the story of Wynonna Earp, the great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp, who battles revenants, the reincarnated outlaws that Wyatt killed. She also fights other supernatural beings that inhabit the Ghost River Triangle, a cursed territory near the Canadian Rockies that includes Purgatory, her home town.

The show kicked off its SDCC take over on Saturday afternoon with its cast sitting down to talk to us about what they are really excited about for this season and to tease us about some of the game-changing events that lie ahead, especially during episode 2. On hand for this year’s convention were leading lady Melanie Scorfano, Tim Rozon, Shamier Anderson, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Katherine Barrell, Varun Saranga, and Chantel Riley alongside showrunner and creator Emily Andras and comic book creator Beau Smith.

The show’s panel also had a lot of fun to offer as the cast had a surprise for themselves as it was announced that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season! The news of the renewal came as quite the surprise considering the show’s third season just premiered that same week. The cast and crew celebrated the news in the best way possible during the panel by revealing that Wynonna Earp funko pops are coming and gave away the first batch of pops to the audience of the panel!

It was definitely a good weekend to be an Earper!

Wynonna Earp’s third season is currently airing on Friday nights on SyFy.
