Wonder Woman is a name on everyone’s lips nowadays. Given the huge success of her first live-action solo movie and the anticipated sequel, it’s not that much of a surprise.

Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan is also a name on everyone’s lip. Only because it’s one of the best comics out there right now.

So what do they have in common? G. Willow Wilson!

The Hollywood Reporter shared that Wilson will be part of the new creative team behind the Wonder Woman comic this fall. Previously, Wilson had worked on SupermanVixen and The Outsiders for DC Comics. She also created Cairo and Air for its Vertigo imprint.

She is best known, however, for creating everyone’s fave non-MCU character Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel for Marvel Comics. Wilson will be joined by artist Cary Nord (Dark Horse’s Conan) for her first story arc on the series “The Just War” which sees a return of Ares as a villain and Themyscira to Earth.

In a statement, Wilson said, “”I’m delighted to be writing such an iconic character as Wonder Woman and to be working with DC once again. With more than 75 years of history, Wonder Woman has a wealth of backstory and drama to draw from, and I look forward to putting a spin on Diana and her supporting cast that’s both new, yet familiar. It’ll be a challenge to do her justice, but I like a challenge and can’t wait to get started.”

We can’t wait for her to get started too!
