One of The Flash actors will be taking on new duties this season.
Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost on the CW series, will make her directorial debut in a season five episode. According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode Panabaker will direct is unknown at this time.
On taking to the director’s chair, Panabaker said to Entertainment Tonight, “I am so humbled by this opportunity to utilize everything that I have learned as a storyteller to bring an episode of The Flash to life. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the chance to work alongside our extremely talented (and vast) team that works so hard to make each and every episode of the show. I wouldn’t be here without the support of my Flash family, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to continue to grow and challenge myself as an artist.”
It honestly depends on how much focus Caitlin Snow will get this year.
When we last saw Caitlin she was trying reawaken Killer Frost after DeVoe seemingly stripped her from Caitlin. A journey into a repressed memories, however, showed that Killer Frost has been part of Caitlin long before the particle accelerator exploded.
The Flash returns on Tuesday, October 9th at 8/7c on the CW.
