Credit: HBO

Michael B. Jordan wowed audiences with his portrayal of Erik “Killmonger” Stevens in Black Panther. The film definitely continues to dominate the box office to our endless joy.

A brief trailer was released a couple of months ago. While that certainly had us hyped, this latest one makes us want to mark our calendars.

Fahrenheit 451 follows Guy Montag (Michael B Jordan), a “fireman” who burns illegal books (and those who own them). The populous is kept docile and dumb through a use of drugs and propaganda. Things, however, take a turn when Montag begins to question everything that he believed was true.

The film also stars  Michael Shannon (The Shape Of Water) as Montag’s mentor and captain. Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond), Laura Harrier (Spider-Man: Homecoming), and YouTuber Lilly Singh also join the film. The adaptation is directed and written by Ramin Bahrani (99 Homes, Chop Shop).

Check out the trailer below.

Fahrenheit 451 premieres May 19th on HBO.
