The Men In Black spin-off has added another Marvel-ous actor to its cast. (It’s bad joke, but c’mon. It’s there to be made.)
For those of you screaming in joy, yes this means that these Thor: Ragnarok co-stars will reunite for the project. In fact, just to add in another Marvel connection, the screenwriters of the film, Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, wrote Iron Man.
The film will be directed by F. Gary Gray (The Fate of The Furious).
Details are currently being kept under wraps for the project. We do know, however, that Hemsworth and Thompson’s characters will be part of three person team. The last person to be cast is an older character.
(May we suggest Jeff Goldblum? Or Idris Elba? C’mon keep the Thor streak alive!)
The project also promises to be more global in scale than the original franchise, which starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
Technically, Hemsworth hasn’t closed the deal to star in the movie. According to THR, he is expected to close it soon.
The untitled Men in Black spin-off will hit theatres June 14, 2019.
