Gather ’round, squirrelfriends, as it looks like we won’t have to wait very long to get our drag race fix for the next season. It was announced this past weekend that RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 is not that far away thankfully, according to VH1.
As a matter of fact, the competition’s upcoming tenth season will be premiering right after All Stars 3 ends. The hit reality competition series will premiere its epic tenth outing on Thursday, March 22, and each 90-minute episode will be followed by a new installment of the behind-the-scenes docu-series Untucked.
So far no casting news has been released as far as which queens will be in the running to be crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar but there isn’t any doubt that we will be in for some fun times and some crazy drama. There may be one queen in the cast that fans of the show might be familiar with. If you recall, Eureka from last season was invited to return for the next season as she had to leave the competition early due to an injury sustained during one of the show’s many challenges.
Eureka did state the following after being eliminated about the possibility of returning: ““As long as I’m in physical health, my knee’s repaired and my doctor releases me, I’m definitely going back. So it’s in God’s hands at this point, but if everything plays out in the right direction, I’ll definitely go back.”
Here’s hoping that she is able to return and finish out her journey the right way and perhaps be able to take home the crown this go round. In the meantime, there are still shenanigans and fun to be had as All Stars 3 is still going on, and we are still waiting to see who makes it into the Drag Hall of Fame along with Chad Michaels and Alaska.
