Live-Action Kim Possible Movie In The Works At Disney Channel

She’s your basic, average girl and she’s hear to save the world. That’s right, Kim Possible is coming back.

I’m sure my fellow millennials who grew up during the 00’s Disney Channel are immediately humming that theme song. Kim Possible was the hero: effortlessly cool, 100% badass, and could do anything.

Anything is possible when you’re a Possible after all.

After four seasons and two television movies, the show ended in 2007. It’s still very fondly remembered by fans.

So, to our cautious delight, it was announced that a live-action Kim Possible movie will happen on the Disney Channel. Currently, casting is underway. Although, finding two people who can live up to Christy Carlson Romano and Will Friedle (who voiced Kim’s BFF and later BF Ron Stoppable) will certainly be a task.

The script for the film was written by Josh Cagan with Kim Possible creators Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley. They’ve been developing a live-action Kim Possible film on and off for years. So this is very promising.

The directors for the upcoming TV feature will be  Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky.

All I’m saying that the theme song needs to be remixed.

Currently, there is not planned release date for the film.
