Doctor Who has a new doctor (Jodie Whittaker), companions (Mandip Gill, Tosin Cole, Bradley Walsh), and a showrunner (Chris Chibnall). The Doctor’s new look is very colorful and fun. The new season will be hitting out screens later this year.
So it really is about time to get that new logo. Maybe a new credit sequence?
Well, courtesy of the BBC, a new logo and poster has been dropped for the upcoming season of Doctor Who. It’s all very exciting. Oddly, the poster is giving me kind of Lord of the Rings vibes. It just feels a little lighter, a little newer. It’s an exciting time to be a Whovian.
Personally, I think it’s very pretty. I want this poster.
According to Entertainment Weekly, BBC in conjunction with Chibnall and Matt Stevens are working with creative agency Little Hawk to create some brand new designs for the new series. Some of these are available today from selected retailers.
So no using fanworks like they did for the last two seasons of the Capaldi era? I liked the clocks.
New Doctor. New look. That’s how it goes.

Whittaker’s era of Doctor Who will hit BBC One and BBCAmerica in the fall of this year.
