Thor: Ragnarok was one of the most highly anticipated films of 2017 and it did not disappoint. And fans have eagerly awaited the released of the DVD and Blu-Ray not just for the film but for the various extras that always come along with the release.
Now Marvel has released a ‘gag reel’ which is just as crazy and hilarious as the film was.
The reel has director Taika Waititi sing-scatting the Marvel Studios theme, throwing in some description for good measure. Waititi then walks through the Sakaaran set and introduces the gag reel, with short bit and pieces of on set silliness, backed by synth music.
It would appear there was A LOT of on set silliness. And I’m insanely jealous.
Cate Blanchett, who was fierce as Hela, says “Taika’s humor is so particular and unique and quirky,” in case we had all missed this when snippets were released on the directors social media and his antics at the films various premieres.
Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie tells us “A day on the set working with Taika involves hijinks, dancing”adding”He’s just a big kid.”
Thor: Ragnarok will be available digitally on February 20th, with a home release for DVD and Blu-ray coming two weeks later, on March 6th.
