Lady Bird, Big Little Lies, And The Shape Of Water Win Big At The 2018 Golden Globe Awards: Who Else Got Some Love?

Hollywood’s award season kicked off this weekend with the 75th Golden Globe Awards. The kudocast, hosted by Seth Myers, honored the best of both film and television on Sunday night according to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, who make up the voting body for the award show.

The atmosphere of the award show was definitely set on the red carpet as the stars wore black in support of the “Time’s up” initiative against sexual harassment.

As far as the awards themselves went, there were a lot of surprises and shakeups in the major categories. Some perennial favorites  were shut out of their usual wins, making way for some of the Netflix and Hulu crew to make their marks.

In the film categories, there were also some shocking wins as some critical favorites were passed over for some surprising winners.
