Black Panther Drops New Trailer: Is The New King Of Wakanda Ready To Fight?

Marvel got the party started right in 2018 as it unveiled a brand new look at their upcoming releasing, featuring one King of Wakanda and his killer crew. On Monday night, the powerhouse studio released a brand new trailer for Black Panther featuring some amazing beats from Kendrick Lamar.

The trailer dropped during the National Championship game between Georgia and Alabama, following Lamar’s performance during the halftime show. The upcoming film will definitely be a game-changer for the studio, as the effects alone are to die for (and which we got to see plenty of in this new trailer as well).

The new trailer gave us quite the eyeful of  Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) as he goes to battle against Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) and Klaw (Andy Serkis), who team up when their own nefarious agendas bring them against Wakanda’s royalty. Also featured in the trailer were T’Challa’s incredible all-female squad of bad-ass warriors and allies Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Shuri (Letitia Wright).

Rounding out the action driven trailer were the glimpses of Angela Bassett as T’Challa’s mother, Forest Whitaker’s Zuri, and the return appearance of Martin Freeman’s Everett Ross.

Check out the trailer below!

There is a lot of hype and excitement surrounding this film as it is also the last film before the long-awaited Avengers: Infinity War, so fans should expect quite the setup for the inevitable war with Thanos in this movie.

As mentioned before, Kendrick Lamar has a hand in the music in the movie as he not only helped produced the soundtrack but also released the first single from the film “All the Stars” earlier this week as well.

Between the movie itself and the music, this film is the one that shouldn’t be missed in 2018!

Black Panther will hit theaters on February 16.
