Men In Attendance For The Golden Globes Will Wear Black In Support Of Female Colleagues

This year, the women attending the Golden Globes will all be wearing black. It’s in order to protest the culture of sexual harassment that has been pervasive in the industry for decades. Earlier this year, we saw actors, producers, agents, and directors all fall due to a series of scandals that started with Harvey Weinstein.

The women, however, will not be alone in this protest. The men attending this year’s ceremony will also don black in support for their female colleagues.

Stylist Ilaria Urbinanti confirmed that her clients, which include Dwayne Johnson, Garrett Hedlund, Tom Hiddleston, and nominee Armie Hammer, are all donning black.

She wrote in an Instagram post.

Johnson also confirmed by commenting “yes we will” on Urbinanti’s post.

The ceremony will air on January 7th with Seth Meyers hosting.
