Arrowverse Releases The Synopsis For The Epic Four Part Crisis On Earth-X

Credit: The CW

Crisis On Earth-X will be the first true four-part crossover between the CW-DC TV shows. Frankly? I couldn’t be more excited to see the story in action.

Okay, okay. I want to see Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry (Grant Gustin) finally tie the knot. I want to see fun pairings and team-ups with the characters that I love. Maaaaaybe a wedding hook-up with Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh).

Really though, I just want to see Barry and Alex finally meet. It’s been denied to me twice. I demand to see it.

Well the synopsis for the four-part event has finally been released. If you think that each show was going to drop a different synopsis? Then you were wrong. It’s the same thing with each one with the guest star and writing credits changed to reflect the show. For the sake of keeping things clean, I only kept the guest star credits to the actual guest stars.

So what can we expect? Oh. So. Much.

Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash and White Canary (Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.

The story comes from Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg. Supergirl’s episode was written by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller. Arrow‘s episode was written by Wendy Mericle & Ben Sokolowski. The Flash‘s episode was written by Todd Helbing. Legends Of Tomorrow‘s episode was written by  Phil Klemmer & Keto Shimizu. So pretty much the showrunners penned their respective show’s episode.

It sounds suitably epic. And I am thrilled that we get to see Captain Cold’s heroic counterpart, Citizen Cold take the stage since Wentworth Miller is leaving the Arrowverse.

You can watch a promo below.

The four-part Crisis on Earth-X will air across Monday November 28th and Tuesday November 29th starting with Supergirl at 8/7c on the CW.
