Fall brings some amazing musical releases. There’s one that’s going to be a must get for all Hogwarts students at heart.
The first five soundtracks for the Harry Potter films will be released on a vinyl collection. As we know, record players work in Hogwarts. Needless to say, it will make you feel a little closer to those moving staircases and stone walls of our literary home away from home.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the collection is titled Harry Potter Original Motion Picture Soundtracks I-V. It comes from Rhino Records. It will feature 10 LPs with music from John Williams (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), and Nicholas Hooper (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
The vinyls will also include a pressed picture from the movies in which the piece appears. One side of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will have an etching on the last side of the LP, rather than the picture.
The box set will be available on November 17th.
