Mark Ruffalo Weighs In On The Hulk and Thor Battle Royale In Thor: Ragnarok

The next big release for Marvel Studios, Thor: Ragnarok, is only six weeks away.

Yes, we’re counting!

It seems, however, we’re not the only ones hyped up about things in the film. These ‘things’ including the return of Loki (Tom Hiddleston), the arrival of Hela (Cate Blanchett), finding out where Odin (Anthony Hopkins) has been all this time and, of course, THAT fight.

You know the one. The one that has been in every trailer. “He’s a friend from work!”

Mark Ruffalo is hyping everyone up over his bout with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor to be bigger than any UFC or WWE fight in history.

A fan favourite on social media, Ruffalo took to his Instagram with two action figures to re-stage the fight between his alter-ego Hulk and Thor.

The questions posed in his caption are references the latest trailer for Thor: Ragnarok in which Bruce Banner asks who won the Grandmaster’s (Jeff Goldblum) battle. Thor replies he did, and easily.

I don’t think anyone is buying it, least of all Bruce, errrr I mean Mark.

It’s not the first time we have seen what Hulk is capable of. Not only did he land some giant Chitauri creature; he also managed to fling The God of Mischief, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), about a fair bit. Simultaneously launching a thousand memes and gif uses.

Along with fans cheering on the angry giant green man, in an recent Good Morning America interview, Ruffalo said “He’s even more angry than he was the last time we saw him, for a much longer period of time.”

Let’s just remember, this is no mere mortal. His opponent is the God of Thunder and the film’s hero. From the latest trailer and Loki’s reactions, we think that more is on the line than just who wins a fight.

Thor: Ragnarok opens in UK Cinemas on October 24th, in Australia on October 25th and in the USA on  November 3rd, 2017.
