Gal Gadot has kicked major butt this summer at the box office and into our hearts. While we’re hoping to expect a badass repeat performance in Justice League, fans of the actress are eager to know what her next project will be.
Well we might have an idea.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gadot has entered talks to star alongside Bradley Cooper in MGM’s supernatural-thriller Deeper.
Written by Max Landis (Chronicle, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency), the film will be about a “disgraced astronaut who is on a deep-sea dive exploring a newly discovered trench but soon finds himself confronted by a sinister and dangerous force”. It has been described as being similar to Gravity.
So if Gravity gave you a constant near panic attack like it did me, then maybe bring someone whose hand you can hold.
Kornel Mundruczo, the director of White God, will helm the picture. Landis and Cooper will also produce alongside David Goyer, Kevin Turen, Russell Ackerman, and John Schoenfelder.
While Gadot is in talks for a mystery role in the film, her presence is not guaranteed. Talks frequently break down, but it would be great to see her in a project like this.
Deeper currently doesn’t have a release date. You can see Gadot in Justice League come November.
