Stranger Things season two will hit our various screens in a little over two months.
While we can’t wait to see what kind of fresh hell will be unleashed upon the small town of Hawkins, most fans would like to know the future of the show. (Especially our fave Dungeon and Dragons playing child heroes.)
In a recent interview with Vulture, show creators and runners The Duffer Brothers talked about the plans. Rather than six seasons and a movie, it’s more of four seasons and peace out.
Ross Duffer said, “We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out.”
It makes sense. Sooner or later, someone’s voice is going to crack on the show’s young core cast.
Personally, I can’t wait to see what season two brings. I’m pretty sure that the Duffer Brothers are just going to keep on wanting to top themselves.
Ross talked a little about wanting to top themselves for season two.
“I just want it to feel like a movie sequel. If you have a successful movie, No. 2 is always a little bit bigger.”
Four seasons, given the nature of the storytelling does make sense though. As Matt Duffer put it, “I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to [the kids] once a year.”
Yeah sooner or later, everyone is just going to want to get hella away from Hawkins ASAP.
Stranger Things season two will hit screens on October 27th.
