Doctor Who will end Capaldi’s final season as the Doctor tomorrow night. While we’re still screaming over Bill’s conversion to a Mondassion Cyberman and John Simm’s return as the Master, we can only assume the second part will hurt our hearts.
Doctor Who showrunner, Steven Moffat has pretty much guaranteed that for the viewers of the show.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the departing showrunner had this to say.
“It’s quite a rollercoaster. There’s action, but the action is the least of it. It’s what that action is doing to the people, what it’s doing to the Doctor. I’m very, very pleased with it. I don’t know what other people will think of it, but I like it.”
Now there are questions that need answering, especially is Capaldi regenerating for real in this episode? (Or will he go out the way of predecessor Matt Smith with the Christmas special?) Could people keep the secret of the next Doctor (who we would all really like to know already).
Well Moffat did not have anything to say on that front.
Looks like we’re in for a rollercoaster after all.
Doctor Who will air its series ten finale tomorrow (Saturday, July 1st) night.
