Since the little bear from Peru made his way on the movie theater screens around the world in 2014, he quickly has found a place in our hearts.

So, when it was announced that Paddington would return in a sequel, we were obviously excited to see what he and the Browns are up to next.

Thankfully, we are getting a first glimpse of what is going to happen next.

Paddington has revealed the first trailer of Paddington Two on his official Twitter page. It looks like nothing has changed for him and the Browns.

Paddington still gets into the occasional trouble while everyone else around him has to clean up afterward.

On the official website, we also find out a little bit more about what the movie will be all about. Paddington is perfectly settled in with the Browns in Windsor Gardens and has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. Due to his Aunt Lucy turning 100, he is looking for the perfect gift for her. While doing so, he finds a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop and wants to buy it for his aunt. To be able to do so, he has to go through quite a few odd jobs. However, the book gets stolen and so it’s up to him and the Browns to find the thief and the book.

In the trailer, we can see one of the jobs Paddington will do and it really does not seem to be as easy as you’d think. After all, he really is just a little bear and we could see in the first movie that even the easiest things are not as easy for him.

In addition, we also get to see a glimpse of Hugh Grant’s and Brendan Gleeson’s characters in the trailer, even though Hugh Grant looks a bit different than we are used to. G

rant will be playing Phoenix Buchanan, a vain and charming celebrity whose best days have been in the past and who isn’t as famous anymore as he used to be. Gleeson will be playing “Knuckles” McGinty, a famous safecracker “who becomes an unexpected new ally for Paddington.“

Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin will reprise their roles. Ben Whishaw will voice Paddington and Imelda Staunton voices Aunty Lucy again.

Paddington 2 will premiere in the UK on November 10, 2017, and in the US on January 12, 2018.
