As expected, there was tons of Rey in this trailer, between the voiceovers and some key training scenes. Also featured heavily in the trailer was the voice of Luke Skywalker, who made a shadowy appearance towards the end of it, delivering words that will chill many Star Wars fans to the bone.
For those hoping to see Finn and Poe in action, the trailer doesn’t disappoint there as there were glimpses of the two in there, with Poe seeing some action. As for General Organa, don’t blink or you may miss her quick appearance.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis in returning roles. New cast members include Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.
It is the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy following Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the seventh film in the film franchise.
The Last Jedi is scheduled for release on December 15, 2017, while its sequel, Star Wars: Episode IX, is scheduled for 2019.
