The current season of Arrow has seen a couple of additions to our hero’s team. Where for the longest time we went along with Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity, the mystical and magical OTA. There were occasional additions in form of Roy, Sara, Thea, or Laurel. This season, however, the Arrow Cave has gotten much, much fuller.
If the most recent news surrounding the superhero show’s sixth season are any indication, then the team is not losing any members any time soon. TVLine reports that Rick Gonzales and Juliana Harkavy have been promoted to series regulars for next season.
We know it’s hard to keep track of who is and isn’t currently part of Team Arrow, so here’s a quick run-down. Apart from Oliver, Diggle and Felicity, who we honest to god never want to leave this team, then the Arrow Cave currently holds Curtis, Rene, and Dinah.
Curtis had already been an honorary member of the team by last season. He started out as Felicity’s co-worker and occasional tech side-kick, but has been able to prove himself in the field this season as Mr. Terrific.
Rene joined the team during the beginning of season five, at the same time Evelyn Sharp did, who turned out to be a much more temporary addition. Rene had been hitting the street as a vigilante of his own making, Wild Dog, before joining Oliver on his crusade.
Dinah Drake, the latest addition, had joined Team Arrow a bit later this season, and is in the process of taking over the Black Canary mantle after Laurel’s death. She is a metahuman who possesses an actual Canary Cry.
So where does this leave the team? One thing is for sure, neither Rene nor Dinah are going to die anytime soon. Isn’t that a relief. The promotion (as well as the news that Katie Cassidy would return to the show) also supports the idea that Dinah could find an enemy in Black Siren.
“I actually don’t know if a face-off is in store, but that would be epic!” Harkavy stated in a recent interview with TVLine.
Honored, humbled, and so damn excited. 🖤 https://t.co/dX2FAKW1Z8

Arrow family, how do we feel about the obviously more permanent additions to Team Arrow? Do you think they will take away from the characters we love and cherish, or do you feel that the fresh blood will add to the overall quality of the show?
