Suicide Squad Sequel Enlists Legend Of Tarzan Scribe To Pen Script

Suicide Squad is the best film that the DCEU has released.

Admittedly, it’s a low bar to cross. I am currently praying that Wonder Woman will set a new standard for the film universe.

Yet still Suicide Squad has won an Academy Award (I know) and did well enough at the box office. It’s really no surprised that Warner Brothers wants to get the sequel for the film out ASAP.

While there is no director currently attached to the project, it hasn’t stopped Warner Bros from trying to find a writer.

And it seems like they have found that writer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros has entered talked with Adam Cozad. Previously, Cozad wrote The Legend of Tarzan for the studio.

Cozad has made his bread and butter with adaptations and action films, such as Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and Underwater. He previously worked on Bloodshot, a film adaptation of the Valiant comic.

Now I don’t remember Tarzan getting a great response. Well we can only hope that the sequel to have Suicide Squad will have a more cohesive story.

Suicide Squad 2 does not have a release date yet.
