Disney Releases Full John Legend And Ariana Grande Cover Of Beauty And The Beast

Beauty and the Beast is a little over a month away from its release. And I can’t wait for it. Mainly because God knows that I need some happiness in life right now.

Have you seen the absolutely gorgeous trailer that was recently released?

Take a look if you haven’t. You’ve been depriving yourself.

Of course with a new film means we get a new soundtrack full of new versions of classic songs (and new songs as well!).

One of these new songs is a new cover of the classic “Beauty and the Beast”. The song was originally sung by Angela Lansbury in the film and covered by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. For the newest film, John Legend and Ariana Grande will be covering the song.

Today, the soundtrack has gone up for pre-order. As part of that pre-order, you can get the Legend and Grande cover of “Beauty and the Beast”.

Right now, it’s only audio only. Apparently, there will be a music video of this cover later.

So which cover version do you prefer? Legend and Grande? Or Dion and Bryson?

Even more exciting is that we have a song list!! (This is taken off the soundtracks iTunes listing.)

  1. Overture – Alan Menken
  2. Main Title Prologue Part 1 – Alan Menken
  3. Aria – Audra McDonald
  4. Main Title Prologue Part 2 – Alan Menken
  5. Belle – Emma Watson, Luke Evans and Ensemble
  6. How Does A Moment Last Forever (Music Box) – Kevin Kline
  7. Belle (Reprise) – Emma Watson
  8. Gaston – Josh Gad, Luke Evans and Ensemble
  9. Be Our Guest – Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Ian McKellen
  10. Days in the Sun – Adam Mitchell, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Emma Watson, Audra McDonald and Clive Rowe
  11. Something There – Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Nathan Mack and Gugu Mbatha-Raw
  12. How Does A Moment Last Forever (Montmatre) – Emma Watson
  13. Beauty and the Beast – Emma Thompson
  14. Evermore – Dan Stevens
  15. The Mob Song – Luke Evans, Josh Gad and Ensemble
  16. Beauty and the Beast (Finale) – Audra McDonald, Emma Thompson and Ensemble
  17. How Does A Moment Last Forever – Celine Dion
  18. Beauty and the Beast – John Legend and Ariana Grande
  19. Evermore – Josh Groban

Phew! That is certainly a full song list!

It looks like, based on this listing, we may actually see the circumstances that leave the Prince cursed into a Beast. It makes sense after all if the Prologue is split in two.

Beauty and the Beast will hit theatres on March 17th.
