All things are coming up Glee when it comes to The Flash and Supergirl  musical crossover episode that is heading our way this spring. Another Glee alum is joining the cast as it was revealed today that Darren Criss has been cast as the villain, the Music Meister.

Ever since it was announced that the two hit CW shows would be crossing over for a musical episode, the internet has been in a tizzy trying to figure out how this would work, not to mention what songs could the show possibly do for it. Then the Music Meister was revealed to be the villain and then it was game on as it was also recently revealed who would be doing the singing in the crossover.

Criss’ casting as the villain has a bit of irony to it as Grant Gustin was a bit of a villain on Glee, and now the tables have turned.

Andrew Kreisberg had this to say about Criss joining the show: “With our Flash and our Supergirl being Glee alums, how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss? We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister.”

Gustin has been trying to get Criss to join the DC TV universe for quite some time as it turns out, telling Entertainment Tonight back in 2015, “I’m like, ‘Dude, we gotta get you on this thing. I don’t know in what capacity, but he’s got to.”

The highly anticipated crossover will air Monday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 21 at 8/7 each night. The actual event will start at the end of Supergirl, saving most of the musical action for The Flash‘s portion of the event, appropriately titled “Duet.”

With all the great talent that is set to be singing for the musical episode, we just have one request: Can Criss and John Barrowman have a duet? Please and thank you!

The Flash and Supergirl are both currently airing on the CW.
