Obviously, when we hear Alexis Bledel’s name, we always automatically associate her with Gilmore Girls. Especially since the revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is now available on Netflix.
But it is not the only popular project the actress has done in the past years. She also starred alongside Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively and America Ferrera in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its sequel.
The movie about the four friends gave us major friendship goals and ever since the second movie was released, we want to see more stories about them.
And we might even get a chance to see more!
While Alexis Bledel was on The Tonight Show, she not only spoke about Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, but she also talked about a possible third movie of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. Especially because 2016 seems to be the year of revivals and reuinions.
“We would all love to do it,” Bledel said. “I think it would be so much fun. We talk about it. I think we should absolutely do it. We’re working on it, so we’ll see if it happens.”
Alexis Bledel sounds really positive about it, which has us dancing happily around the house.
Although, in case they wanted something different for the third movie or ran out of ideas for it, Jimmy already came up with a few ideas himself.
He pitched the idea of a reboot with an all-male cast, starring himself Kevin Hart, Paul Rudd, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
But in case his idea was a bit too radical, he also shared a plan for the original ladies:
“I seriously think you come out with a third one, you guys are all talking to each other, you’re older now, and you go, ‘Wait, who has the pants?’” Fallon said. “Maybe someone’s kid is wearing the pants, maybe someone’s mom is wearing the pants. Maybe it’s been put on a scarecrow and turned into a horror movie.”
Check out the clip below to see how Alexis Bledel reacts to his ideas, which all have something, and let’s hope together that Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 3 will be happening.
