Out of all the amazing stuff that we’re getting in 2017, I have to say that Legion is in my Top Five.

Ever since the trailer was released, I’ve been really excited into this fascinating character. Who is David Haller (Dan Stevens)? And just what can he do?

Plus, Noah Hawley who made Fargo such a great TV series is doing this show as well. You know it’s going to be amazing with that, right? From what I understand, early buzz has been pretty positive.

Also, Aubrey Plaza is in it. I watched Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates for her. This show looks so much better.

In a new promo released today, we get to see a little more of Plaza’s character Lenny.

She’s not particularly optimistic about David’s chances in this series.

“They’re coming and they’re gonna kill you,” she says with a smile. It’s pretty much what I would expect from a character played by Plaza.

I’m going to like Lenny.

Also poor David who doesn’t know what’s real or not. He’s going to break my heart, but hopefully it will be a thoughtful portrayal of mental illness.

Except with superpowers.

I have faith in Hawley.

What we also learned with this new video is that the show will be out in February 2017. Still no official-official date, but we’ll take what we can get at this point.

Here’s the synopsis for Legion.

Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.
