The all-star cast already consists of James Corden, Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson as well as Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki.  The film is being produced by Sony.
The latest news is that Margot Robbie is now in final negotiations to join the cast as well.
While details of the role Robbie will play is as closely guarded as Mr McGregor’s carrot patch, it is rumoured she will voice one of the other bunnies – perhaps it will be Peter’s mother or one of his sisters; Flopsy, Mopsy or Cottontail.

Gleeson and Robbie are also working together on another children’s literary classic related movie, bringing the story of Winnie the Pooh creator A.A. Milne to life in the as yet untitled project.  Gleeson plays the role of Milne and Robbie his wife, Daphne.

Peter Rabbit is yet to begin filming but will be released in cinemas in early 2018.
