Legends of Tomorrow has been touting the introduction of the CW-DCTV version of the Justice Society of America.

The JSA has been a long-running comic team featuring the Golden Age versions of the Flash (Jay Garrick) and Green Lantern (Alan Scott). Seeing as they’re running around in the 40s? It’s very exciting to see them being brought to life.

A new featurette for the show, we learn a little bit more about this team.

Simply put, they don’t really like the Legends.

Here’s the synopsis for the episode.

The Legends travel to Nazi-occupied Paris, but find themselves surrounded by the Justice Society of America (AKA JSA.) The Legends discover a time aberration that threatens the JSA, but the JSA wants nothing to do with them or their help. Nevertheless, the Legends force their way into the JSA’s mission to intercept and seize a mysterious package.

Nate (Nick Zano) is desperate to prove that he should be part of the team, but he has a secret that he shares with his grandfather Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull) that might make it difficult. Ray (Brandon Routh) is so focused on impressing the JSA, he puts himself and Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in danger. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) has stepped in as the leader with Rip (Arthur Darvill) gone, but when decisions aren’t being made Sara (Caity Lotz) seems to be the one calling the shots. Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star.

It’s exciting to see the new Vixen, or the old Vixen, depending on how you look at it. But I do wonder what goes into her joining the Legends.

In a newly released featurette, we don’t really learn that answer.

What we do learn, however, is the JSA are kind of jerks. At least, at first, to the team. Which makes sense because it is World War II.

Honestly, I can’t wait to hear Victor Garber sing and see Nazi’s get punched out!

Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8/7c on the CW.
