What makes a Marvel movie?
This is a rhetorical question, of course. A bunch of thing makes a Marvel movie: good or bad. We can talk about what these individual things are until the cows come home.
The one thing common in all Marvel movies, however, is the Stan Lee Cameo.
Stan Lee is definitely a living legend in the pop culture world. He helped create dozens of characters along with the “Marvel Method” of comic book making that revolutionized the industry. Man is still hella active even in the his 90’s.
You have to give him credit. So if he wants to cameo in these movies, then he definitely can cameo in as many of them as he wants.
Collider reports that at a recent screening of Captain America: Civil War, Kevin Feige talked about Lee and that his next cameos has already been filmed.
He said: “We do not shoot random ones. They’re always specific. A couple of months ago in Atlana, [Lee] flew down and we shot four in one day — for four various projects. They’re all awesome! They’re all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.”
Feige didn’t confirm the films that Lee had filmed for. So that’s all up in the air for everyone to guess.
The next Marvel film, Doctor Strange will be out on November 4th.
