Luke Cage is premiering this Friday, folks!
Are you ready? Do you feel like you’re ready for this? Because I? I am definitely not. There will be tears and noises not meant for human ears. But I, and my computer, are going to get well acquainted with the Power Man this weekend.
I have a game plan.
Other people plan for like births and stuff, I plan to make sure that I have a free day in order to binge watch TV shows.
Clearly, I have all of my priorities in order because I am a sensible and mature adult.
In order to get feels at an all time high, Netflix has released the final trailer for the show. We get to see more of Luke (Mike Colter) and we also get more of our favorite MCU/Netflix character, Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson).
Claire has a question for Luke: “There is nothing that can hurt you. So what the hell are you afraid of?”
If it where me, then that brain needle thing that Claire had to do to Luke in Jessica Jones. I still can’t watch that scene. We get to see more of Luke becoming the hero that Harlem needs in order to help the people of his neighborhood.
We also see more of Mahershala Ali’s Stokes, who continues to be chilling in a way that reminds me of the Kingpin yet remains totally fresh. God I am so ready for this show.
Luke Cage will be released on September 30th.
