It’s Friday, you’re looking for the perfect jam to get your night started in the right fashion, where do you turn? Luckily for us, Adam Lambert is here to rescue us! (Though really, when is he ever not?!) The latest judge in the upcoming Australian series of The X Factor has dropped a cool little track today that is sure to get the party started for your weekend festivities.

Teaming up with Tritonal and Jenaux, “Broken” is mellow enough to fit in with your getting ready playlist, but with some awesome beats that will have you up and ready to dance the night away. Don’t believe me, check out the lyric video below:

2016 has been another bumper year for Lambert. Following on from the success of his third studio album, The Original High, which was released last year, Lambert embarked on a world tour, playing to packed houses and both fan and critical success. He then surprised fans in March when he collaborated with Laleh for an emotional new single “Welcome to the Show”. He nabbed the role of Eddie in FOX’s upcoming TV remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show and then was announced as a judge for the Australian version of The X Factor. All the while, he has continued to tour as the frontman for Queen. It’s a great time to be a Glambert!

And if all that isn’t enough, he has plans to commence work on his fourth studio album later this year. Speaking to Digital Spy in April, the “Ghost Town” signer revealed, “The plan is still being concocted and is unfolding, so we don’t really know. It’s all kind of still spinning around,” Lambert said. “It’s only now that I’m starting to go, ‘Where do I want to go next, sound-wise?’ But I haven’t gotten close enough to the process yet. I think I’ll start working on stuff in the Fall.”

Well we here at 4YE can’t wait to see where he takes the next album along with everything else he has lined up.

“Broken” is now available to download and stream. Do yourself a favour and check it out, you won’t regret it.
