There are milestones which make you sit back and think “wow I feel old” and one particular movie anniversary had me thinking that this week.

This week marks 15 years since Legally Blonde was released and it seems that Reese Witherspoon still holds Elle Woods close to her heart. Witherspoon marked the anniversary by taking fans on a walk down memory lane on various social media channels including Instagram and Snapchat. Witherspoon took fans on a tour of Elle’s wardrobe, taking to Snapchat to show us her trying on the now iconic outfits. The realisation that Witherspoon has kept so many of the outfits from the movie just shows how proud of the project she actually is.

Whilst trying on the outfits, Witherspoon talked us through the outfits and their place in the movie, and uttered the immortal, “Whoever said orange is the new pink, is seriously disturbed.” This is one of my favourite lines from the movie and the musical, and I will freely admit that my friends and I have been known to use this line on many occasions.

Witherspoon also showed us she still had the moves by teaching us all how to “Bend and Snap”. For many fans of the movie, and the multi Tony and Olivier Award winning musical which followed, this move is just perfection and is guaranteed to bring a smile to their faces.

It’s been 15 years since the movie “Legally Blonde” introduced the world to Elle Woods, the pink-clad, Chihuahua-toting sorority student who aced the LSATs, got into Harvard Law School and inspired a generation. “I have had so many women say, ‘I went to law school because of ‘Legally Blonde,’” says star Reese Witherspoon (@reesewitherspoon). “It actually had a meaningful story. And it was about female empowerment. It wasn’t necessarily about the girl getting the guy.” To celebrate the anniversary, make sure to show off your pet Chihuahua, law degree or even your best “bend and snap” — “That is still the most asked request I get from people. I have a feeling I will be doing the bend and snap until I am 95,” says Reese — and tag #LegallyBlonde15 in the caption. Video by @reesewitherspoon

Witherspoon was not the only Legally Blonde cast member to mark the anniversary. Selma Blair, who of course played Vivian Kensington, shared an on set photo from the movie.

Legally Blonde is a movie that is guaranteed to cheer me up no matter how bad I am feeling, and the London Cast recording of the musical adaptation is one of the most played albums I own. Guess we are all Delta Nu after all.
