On a roll with his space roles, Star Trek Beyond star Karl Urban posted a pic of his new look, ready for Thor: Ragnarok filming.
Star Trek’s been dominating the box office this week, but gone are the familiar McCoy locks… it’s time to meet Skurge.
Cate Blanchett’s playing Hela, the sinister villainess of the Asgardian apocalypse, and Skurge is her double-bladed axe wielding henchman. It’s great to see Urban committing to the traditional look of the character with that hairdo.
“Less is more for Thor,” he captioned the image on Facebook. We can’t wait to see him causing some galactic level chaos.

Joining Urban and Blanchett as newcomers in the MCU in Thor: Ragnarok are Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) as the Grand Master, and Tessa Thompson (Creed) as warrior Valkyrie. And of course returning to reprise their roles are Chris Hemsworth as Thor himself and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, as well as Idris Elba as Heimdall and Anthony Hopkins as Odin, though sadly not Natalie Portman as Jane.
Joining the Asgardian crew on their home planet this time around will be Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. The Hulk’s been AWOL since the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it seems he’s found refuge on Asgard. The Avengers’ two heaviest hitters will team up to stop the apocalypse and save Asgard… sounds like the best buddy-cop action duo ever!
Marvel’s SDCC panel aired a Thor mockumentary, What We Do In The Shadows style, with Thor trawling conspiracy theory bulletin boards for info on Thanos… hopefully he’ll have better methods in Ragnarok.
We can’t wait to see Thor and the Hulk face off against Hela and Skurge.
Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas November 3 2017.
