He’s long been a star on the rise, but this last week Tom Hiddleston has been seen across a lot of media sites.  Ok it’s possibly due to the rumours and photographs of him with one pop-diva, but before that, it was the British actor’s backside that was being discussed.

W Magazine recently released a steamy photo shoot of Hiddleston in the lead up to it’s annual Top Hot Actors edition, which is due out in August. In his interview with the magazine, Hiddleston discusses the furor surrounding the editing of his sex scene in hugely successful  The Nght Manager.

During the BBCOnce/AMC production, there is a scene in episode 4 in which Hiddleston’s character and Jeds, played by Elizabeth Debicki, get down and dirty up against a wall.  The rest of the world got to see Hiddleston’s rather peachy backside, alas our American counterparts missed out, and the scene was cut out.

“I was surprised to hear that they cut my butt out!” Hiddleston told W in the interview. “I’m here to tell you that my butt is not dangerous. And there are many, many more dangerous things that people are happy to broadcast. I don’t know what that says about the world we live in, but it probably says something.”

Hiddleston is also rumoured to be in Emmy contention for The Night Manager, however he has not long wrapped on the Jordan Vogt-Roberts epic Skull Island and is about to head back to Australia to don his horned helmet to reprise his role as Loki in Thor: Ragnarok.

We’ve decided we’ll be super kind people that we are, and share all the photos from the shoot with you all.  Although to be fair, this is not the first time fans have seen Hiddleston out of his well tailored suits.  In many of his productions from Unrelated to Crimson Peak, the actor is doing a marvelous job of redressing the balance of male nudity on screen.  Keep it up Tom, you are doing great!
