Fox is breaking into the musical for television business.

After NBC’s yearly success with their December Live! musicals, Fox tried their own hand at it with Grease! Live. It turned out to be a success for the network.

Even before Grease! Live premiered, however, Fox announced another musical for 2016 on the network: The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

It’s the first attempt to remake the iconic 1975 film, which starred Tim Curry, in any visual medium. Over the years, Rocky Horror has taken to the stage. The film, however, is largely untouched and brought out every year on Halloween for interactive fun at the movies.

(Rocky Horror virgins, beware.)

This remake, however, has an amazing cast with the majestic goddess Laverne Cox playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Joining her in the cast are Ben Vereen as Dr. Everrett Scott, Victoria Justice as Janet, Ryan McCartan as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff-Raff, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia and Christina Millian as Magneta.

Tim Curry returns to Rocky Horror to play the Criminologist this time.

Today as part of the 2016 Upfronts, Fox released a trailer to tease the event.

The 30-teaser is a tease. Cox already gives me shivers with her own interpretation of this iconic role. (Or could it be Cox in general? I do have a massive crush on her. I’m not saying that Victoria Justice is me, but yeah a little bit.

I do have to admit that it’s weird seeing this remake looking so polished. Part of the charm of the original film is how rough around the edges it was.

I can’t wait to see what happens.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to your screens this Halloween on Fox.
