It’s a good day today.

Sun is shining. Colleges are freeing their students into the world with various degrees of preparedness.

Deadpool has been released out on Blu-ray and DVD today. With all the bonus features and gloriousness fans have been promised.

In order to promote the released, Screen Junkies decided to do an Honest Trailer for the film.

Except, let’s be real, this is Deadpool.

He was going to hijack the thing and make it his own. Has the meta made your mind explode yet? Deadpool will out meta even himself.

Yes. Ryan Reynolds did appear in the trailer to provide his voiceover. This proves, yet again, that Ryan Reynolds has like a deep and spiritual connection to the character.

Or he is Wade Wilson reborn. I haven’t quite ruled that out yet either.

According to Mashable, this all started with a Twitter conversation between Deadpool co-writer Rhett Reese and Screen Junkies creator Andy Signore. Reynolds involved himself by following Signore and wanting to know what he could do to make it happen.

Ryan Reynolds continues to be one of my favorite people right now.

Who knows where Reynolds will appear next?

Anyway, the Honest Trailer is everything promised and more with all the jokes and bleeped-out swears that you can imagined.

Bless.

Personally, I really liked the banter between Deadpool and the trailer voiceover guy the best. That’s just me though. Even the blatant product placement was pretty much gold in my book.

Deadpool is out on DVD and Blu-ray today.
