Whenever a fan favorite dies, it’s very hard for fans to let go or readily accept that the character is 100% gone. Arrow recently said goodbye to Black Canary, aka. Laurel Lance, when she was killed by Damien Darhk.
Her death has made many fans wonder if she was truly dead, since the character is very much alive in the comics and in a relationship with Oliver Queen’s Green Arrow. The show has brought people back from the dead before (hello Thea and Sara Lance) so it really wouldn’t be much of a stretch for Laurel Lance to be brought back.
The star of Arrow, Stephen Amell, recently took the time to address any resurrection rumors floating around. The actor was on Larry King Now recently and the topic of Laurel Lance’s death was brought up.
King got straight to the point and flat out asked Amell if Laurel was coming back: “Any chance she’ll come back from the dead?,” asked King. “No,” replied Amell, “simply no.”
King then asked about the last words said by Laurel. I do know what they were, but it’s going to remain a secret because much like Greg [Berlanti] said, “We like to surprise the viewers.”
Here’s hoping they were words of encouragement or perhaps knowledge on how to kill Damien Darhk or even Malcom Merlyn.
Check out the synopsis below for this week’s episode “Monument Point.”
