The end is near for some of our favorite TV shows. May signals the official end of the television season as shows wrap things up and get ready to leave their viewers hanging if they end on cliffhangers or completely dissatisfied if they end on a horrible note.
Both Arrow and The Flash have been having one crazy season. Arrow spent its fourth season teasing a grave, only to reveal that it was Laurel Lance who bit the dust, which is leaving the heroes on that show seeking revenge.
As for The Flash, Barry Allen and crew have spent their time cleaning up after the Singularity and dealing with Zoom. So far, Team Flash is batting zero as Zoom keeps killing and upping the ante.
The CW has recently released the finale synopses for both of these shows.
For Arrow, its finale is titled “Schism,” and the synopsis is as follow:
Oliver (Stephen Amell) teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and his magic once and for all.
As to whom that surprising force is, many are betting on Malcolm Merlyn at this time. It wouldn’t be the first time the Dark Archer has switched sides as he does that quite frequently if it suits his needs.
For The Flash, its finale is titled “The Race of His Life,” and the synopsis is as follow:
After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) reveals his true plan, Barry (Grant Gustin) vows to do whatever it takes to stop him.
Given what happened on last week’s episode, here’s hoping whatever Barry decides to do doesn’t cost him a loved one in the process.
Arrow‘s finale will air on May 25 while The Flash will air its finale the day before on May 24.
