Tim Burton Themed Restaurant Set For NYC

Beetlehouse, Beetlehouse, Beetlehouse…

And here it is! After saying it three times, the new Tim Burton inspired restaurant Beetle House is all set to open in The Big Apple.

The quirky little restaurant and bar in the East Village was created by the same people who brought us Stay Classy, the Will Ferrell inspired bar. It is set to open “late April,” according to their website. The menu “is one of a kind, paying tribute to some of our favorite characters while pleasing your mouth with a fusion of American Comfort, Latin, Italian and European Dishes”.

The menu has such dishes as Beetle Bread and Wings that come in Nightmare, Alice, Violet and Veruca Salted Honey. There’s also Sweeney Beef and Edward Burger Hands. To quench your thirst you can select from a wide range of poisons and elixirs including cocktails entitled Edward’s Lemonade, Alice’s Cup of Tea, The Headless Horseman, and Chocolate Factory Martini.

At this stage though, you can’t just rock up unannounced (although one would think Tim Burton himself probably could). The rest of us however, can make a reservation using the website’s online booking system. At the time of going to press, there are no tables for two available until next week, 5th May to be exact. I had to check, you know… for research!

Clearly the owners know a good thing, and with Stay Classy having done a brisk trade since it opened in October last year, they obviously know what the public want.

So those of you in New York, or planning a trip there soon; treat yourself to a night out where it’s Halloween every night!

Below are some of the cocktails on their Instagram page.

You can make reservations online at www.beetlehousenyc.com.
