When it comes to movies, this year is going to be full with action, superheroes, and antiheroes. Because that’s how amazing the team between the comic book industry and the film industry has become.

While DC’s biggest title of the year is Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, we have to be 100% honest and accept that the most anticipated film from Batman’s house is Suicide Squad. Who doesn’t love a team of psychos?

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad promises to make us love DC’s villains even more than we already did, introducing us to Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Slipknot (Adam Beach), and Katana (Karen Fukuhara). This eclectic team will be joined by the new incarnation of the Joker, in the body of Jared Leto.

The first trailer made its debut on last year’s San Diego Comic Con, and thanks to some sneaky attendees, Warner released it for the rest of the world to see it. To make things fairer this time, Warner has released the second Suicide Squad trailer during The CW’s DC Film Presents: Dawn of the Justice League special.

Are you ready for more epicness? Serve yourself.

Indeed, they are the worst heroes ever but hey, aren’t they the most badass of all? I would gladly join the team if asked – honestly.

Rounding up the cast is Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, the government official who gives out the team’s orders; Jim Parrack as the Joker’s henchman, Jonny Frost; and Ben Affleck aka Batman will have a cameo (quite possibly in order to set up a solo Batman film. Brace yourselves).

Is it too early to start a countdown? Because the excitement is oh so real right now!

Suicide Squad will (finally) come out on August 5, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D – because life is amazing.
