Agent Carter Reveals First Two Episodes’ Synopses For Season Two

Only two more weeks until the one and only Peggy Carter returns to our screens to kick some major ass in Agent Carter.

It’s been almost a year since we last saw our heroine, played by British actress Hayley Atwell, and the wait is almost over. The show’s sophomore season set to take place on the West Coast with several of the cast members from the first season joining Atwell. James D’Arcy’s Jarvis is West Coast bound with Ms. Carter, along with Enver Gjokaj’s Sousa, and Chad Michael Murray’s Thompson. Lotte Verbeek also joined the cast for season 2 as the elusive Anna Jarvis.

In preparation for the season 2 double premiere (two episodes, for twice the fun), ABC has released synopses for both of the episodes.

The first episode has a bit of an Arthurian feel to it, given its title. The first episode is called “The Lady of the Lake”.

“Peggy moves to the City of Angels to help Chief Daniel Sousa at the West Coast Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) investigate a bizarre homicide involving an alleged killer and Isodyne Energy, and reunites with some familiar faces.”

Chief Daniel Sousa…we totally like the sound of that! The synopsis does sound like it’s going to lay all the groundwork for what is sure to be a spectacular season.

The second episode in the season premiere does have a bit of a sense of foreboding and possibly a bit more gritty. The episode is called “A View In The Dark.”

“Peggy discovers her murder investigation has huge ramifications that can destroy her career, as well as everyone near and dear to her.”

Here’s hoping that Peggy doesn’t get way in over her head. Knowing Ms. Carter, she’ll manage and take down some bad guys in the process.

Agent Carter comes charging back onto our screens on January 19th on ABC.
