Who Will Make it to the Strictly Final?

To be honest, there’s not a lot to say about last night’s show. Kylie performed. She is a national treasure, an honorary Brit and we love her. Gleb looked well chuffed to be holding her aloft. We would be too.

Anyway, that aside, there was really no messing about last night, and the first couple announced for the dance-off were Katie and Anton. Anton looked absolutely gutted.

The second couple announced were Anita and Gleb, which is just as it should have been.

Anita and Gleb were the stronger pairing on Saturday night, but in the dance-off, Katie and Anton absolutely shone. Though it hurts us (and Craig) to say goodbye to Gleb and his abs, Katie and Anton deserved to go through, in our humble opinion. We do think there might have been some bias toward getting Anton to his first final, though. But hey, he’s Anton Du Beke, and neither of the two dance off couples would have actually won the final anyway.

Looking forward, then. We have Katie and Anton, with Anton having been on the show for 12 years and finally getting to his first final! Georgia and Giovanni, it’s Gio’s first year and he’s made it so far! Kellie and Kevin are also through, making this Kevin’s third consecutive final, and the first male celeb to achieve that honour and finally we have Jay and Aliona. This could, potentially, be the second time Aliona wins the show.

Who will it be? Honestly, for the first time ever, we would be thrilled for any of them. It’s not often you can say that, is it? All in all, it’s shaping up to be an excellent final.
